Your first step into the world of engineering
Since launching our apprenticeship scheme in 2017, we’ve welcomed over 50 apprentices into the business. The scheme combines hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and structured learning, giving participants everything they need to start a successful career within the building services industry.
Our Apprenticeship Scheme
From day one, you’ll be part of real engineering teams, working across a range of central London sites and gaining exposure to different buildings, systems, and plant environments.
To ensure a well-rounded experience, apprentices rotate across our sites every six months. This variety allows you to build broad technical knowledge, whilst learning from experienced engineers, many of whom have spent decades developing their careers with Jaguar.
Alongside regular reviews with your line manager, you’ll also have quarterly check-ins with your Business Unit Head and Directors. These sessions are designed to support your development, ensuring you’re comfortable with your workload, learning pace, and college commitments.
A Purpose-Built Workshop for Hands-On Learning
Our dedicated Workshop, based within the Building Performance Centre, is a key part of the apprenticeship experience.
We recognise that apprentices don’t always get enough hands-on testing opportunities, either on-site or in college, where larger class sizes can limit practical learning. That’s why our training rig is so valuable.
Working in small groups and guided by experienced members of our Technical Team, you’ll benefit from focused sessions, greater practical exposure, and a deeper understanding of systems and processes.
From the outset, we create an open learning environment where no question is a “silly” question. That mindset is essential in building both confidence and technical ability.
Learning & Qualifications
Alongside your on-site experience, you’ll attend college one day per week during your first three years, working towards your Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. We are partnered with New City College, who obtained an Ofsted Rating of ‘Excellent’ in 2025.
In your final year, you’ll transition into full-time site-based work while completing your Jaguar Logbook and preparing for your final assessments, marking your progression to a fully qualified engineer.

Real Career Progression
