Kindness costs nothing and can make all the difference

Last month, Ian Bailey, an Electrical Technician at The Point, received an award at the Metropolitan Police Service Commissioner’s Commendation Ceremony which took place at Scotland Yard.
Ian was honoured for courageously intervening to prevent a member of the public from taking their own life earlier this year at The Point. Since this event, Ian has been doing well and receiving support from his colleagues and management.
In a comment, Ian said,
“As we go through our daily lives, just a simple hello or hi can make a big difference in someone’s life.”
Ian’s bravery and kindness in a time of need truly deserves acknowledgment. Congratulations, Ian.
