Our Technical Team complete auto energy reading install

Jaguar’s Technical Department recently completed an automatic energy metering readout installation. The aim of the project was to provide our customer with a simple way of monitoring the energy consumption of a large multi-tenanted office building.

The installation included a 3-phase CT metering panel, which measures the electrical consumption of the buildings central heating, chilled water and associated plant and electrical equipment, along with heating and cooling flow meters on each floor measuring the LTHW and chilled water services. Cable linked digital displays were installed within each floors electrical riser, allowing consumption and flow rates to be read easily.

The equipment was linked via communications cabling and a UPS backed GSM data collector, which allows for the programming and scheduling of monthly / daily / hourly reports to be automatically sent in an excel / CSV format. This has also allowed for the potential to analyse the consumption data further where required.

We provided our customer with electrical test certificates and schematic wiring diagrams. Another successful installation completed in-house by our Technical Team.
