We offer in-house Permit to Work Training

At Jaguar, we understand the importance of correct permit to work training.

Our bespoke in-house PTW training course held at Jaguar’s Head Office aims to teach all relevant personnel on-site how to operate an effective permit to work system, and explains how permit systems are a key part of strong safe system of works. The course includes interactive sections exploring previous case studies, and how correct PTW systems could have prevented major disasters.

The function of a permit to work system, is to ensure certain defined operations are prohibited without the specific permission of a responsible Manager. This permission is only granted once stringent checks have been made to ensure all necessary precautions have been taken and that it is safe for work to go ahead. We also explore the importance of suitable and sufficient associated documentation such as risk assessments, method statements and training certificates.
