Celebrating Women in Engineering Day 2026

International Women in Engineering Day is an opportunity to recognise the women working across our business and the wider engineering sector.

At Jaguar, women contribute across all areas of our organisation, from engineering and energy management to site operations and leadership.

We’re sharing a few perspectives from some of the women in our team, reflecting on their careers, experiences, and the opportunities available within the industry.

Sharing some of our colleagues perspectives

Sally Burton, Account Manager

“International Women’s Day is a good opportunity to recognise the progress that’s been made in creating workplaces where people are valued for their skills, experience, and contributions.

Personally, I’ve never really viewed my role through the lens of being a woman in a particular industry. I’ve chosen a career and workplace that I enjoy, where I’ve always felt supported and able to develop professionally. My focus has always been on building strong client relationships, delivering results, and being part of a great team.

For me, International Women’s Day is about recognising the achievements of women across all industries and continuing to create opportunities for everyone to succeed.”

Louise Davies, SHEQ Manager & Associate Director

“As a female Director within the engineering industry, I’m proud to represent women in a sector where diversity continues to grow. Creating greater visibility for women in engineering is so important, as representation helps inspire the next generation to believe these careers are achievable for them too.

Throughout my time at Jaguar, I’ve greatly valued the leadership and support  I’ve received. Their investment in my development has enabled me to progress both as a woman in engineering and in leadership. I’m also fortunate to be in good company in the Senior Leadership team at Jaguar working alongside fellow strong women in engineering, Rhona Smith and Liza McGuigan.

I would encourage more women to consider careers in engineering and the industry is stronger because of greater diversity and inclusive leadership.”

Bebe Ray, Energy Analyst

“Working as an Energy Analyst has shown me how engineering can have a real impact on the way we live, work, and use resources.

I’m proud to be part of an industry where women are helping drive innovation and improve sustainability. I hope more women see engineering as a rewarding career where they can make a meaningful and lasting difference.”
